Fool For You 02:39
When will I stop believing These lies that I keep weaving? I’m such a fool for you, and everything you do I’m such a fool for everything that I do too. When will I communicate? It always seems like it’s too late. How is it that you’ve been so understandin’? You’re not even gone, but I already want you back (reflection time) When will I stop believing These lies that I keep weaving? I’m such a fool for you, and everything you do I’m such a fool for everything that I do too.

Sometimes it’s good to rest with your foot up on the table. Sometimes it is best to get up if you’re able. Sometimes you make your way back to the chair. Sometimes it’s hard to rest, ‘cause there’s no furniture there. Sometimes it’s good to feel the way you’re partial to, Sometimes you know it’s something you ought not do. But sometimes you may learn somethin’ new, And sometimes, it’s even sometimes true. Sometimes it’s hard to know the order of the day; It’s always dripping away, like the drool on baby’s face. Just when you think you know what it is you think you need, That’s when you up and leave.

Cocoons 03:36
All my frands are falling over drunk, Looks like I’m gonna have to Slip under the table. Your caterpillar eyes ain’t for everyone, But we could have a little fun. Why don’t we Slip under the table? They said it was the Summer of Love. So why do I fail to realize anyone but you, with me? Cocoons, cocoons fallin’ everywhere But I’m taken by your stare. Why don’t we Slip under the table? Falling in the wind Falling with a cocooned heart Hoping that it falls apart, And you fly back to me. They said it was the Summer of Love. So why do I fail to realize anyone but you, with me? All my frands are calling it a day I’d really rather stay. I’ll call ya if I’m able.

The Dirge 05:57
Seeing you day-to-day, It’s hard to explain, ‘Cause you ain’t had your heart broke, And I’d rather wait a day. “By-and-by” I hear ‘em sing, And I sure can relate. Fate leads to trouble seeking Love, Love seeking fate. I want to do what others do- Sit in the backseat of a car, Kissing while others drive. I have found someone new, You might have guessed. Someone who, a lot like you Once put my doubts to rest. Seems with all the broken hearts We’d all Love the same, So why is it so hard To Love without the pain? I want to do what others do- Sit in the backseat of a car, Kissin’ while others drive Takin’ things too far, And still feeling it’s alright.

Doggies 02:07
Doggies abound! Lost when we’re found! Everyone’s waiting for the whistle to sound, And we all start sittin’ at the top of the line. No need to push, ‘cause there’s nowhere to climb. You’re friends drop by, but they don’t stay for long; Like everybody else, they’re already gone. Eyes up here! Nose in the rear! Everyone’s waiting for the innocent years Where we all start runnin’ but there’s no need to hide, No thorns in our side, just the friends we abide. And your tears drop by, but they don’t stay for long, ‘Cause just like old friends, they’re already gone.

Lazy Bones 03:25
Lazy in my bones everyday. Drugs in my blood most every night. Wish I had a place to get away, And play my guitar then maybe everything would be alright. I wanna be high. I wanna be low. I wanna have somewhere I can go to point in me a direction to- I’m the first to be the last and that’s everything’s got to do with it. lazy hum At night I’m good, Or maybe I’m gone. I wanna find somewhere I belong, so I try my luck with the girl at the corner store, But I get all turned around as I’m walking out the “in” door. I wanna be loved So I can be lost. I wanna find someone I can talk to. Say sorry to my folks at home. I been turnin’ out the wrong way ever since I d‘cided to get gone. lazy hum II I’m gonna be high. I’m gonna be low. I’m gonna find somewhere I can go- To the bottom of the resting hill, Until everything is everything, until everything is until~ This is a little piece a part of me. I want it but I don’t know how. Just a little bit of harmony, I want it but I don’t know how.

Zephyr 04:21
I would like to see your face again Smiling, sifting, through whatever is trite. It may be hard, given the shape you’re in Sitting spoiled, or twisted all night. I’m coming to visit. Where ever you are, That’s where I’ll be. I’ll be there within the next month Couch-bound, surfing, in from the East. And you can tell me all about it: Your new boyfriend... Wookie... Facials... Whatever the news may be- Because I’m coming to visit. Where ever you are, That’s where I’ll be.
9.
I like singing songs with you I do all the little wiggles in the notes that you do Cut out a little harmony and dribble some glue I like singing songs with- I like holding hands with you In the bed or in the sand or in a bathroom cue If your arms are getting tired, holding feet will do I like holding- solo bit (alone) I like taking walks with you Every time you stop to smell the flowers, I too Delight in the dip of my nose in dew I like holding- I like taking walks with- I like singing songs with you!

Marionettes 04:35
Somebody appointed me This point of view I didn’t choose- just Closed my eyes, and Held on for my life. Oh Golly, what a ride! Somebody had used their hands To tie me up and make me dance, and Took me on this marionette ride. Oh Golly, what a life! Goodbye World, Hello New When one day they cut the strings Still to be left wondering, If that was it, then was that it at all? Oh Golly, what a fall! Goodbye World, Hello New

about

Batty Jr. Austin, Texas

Good morning! This is life, a melody-laced landscape of rhymes and stories from the past, present, or whatever else we can grasp. Batty Jr. is a band that captures this world in photographs of song, spirit, and sometimes even a bit of comedy, dramady, or whatever else we can grasp. It’s Sadie! It’s Zeke! It’s Ry! It's Conner!
